Finance Calculator India (the App) is a PaisaSync product. It provides offline financial calculators and affordability checks for India. You enter values such as income, expenses, savings, EMIs or a purchase price; the App uses those values on your device to generate an estimate. This policy explains what the App processes, what stays on your device, and the limited data that may be sent when your device is online.
1. Privacy summary

2. Information kept on your device
The App performs its financial calculations on your device. It may store the following locally when you choose to save or reuse it:
- Calculator inputs and results, including income, expenses, savings, debts, investment assumptions and purchase details.
- Affordability-check inputs, such as existing EMIs, emergency savings, monthly commitments and a proposed purchase price; and the resulting affordability estimate or score.
- Locally saved calculations, affordability scenarios, preferences and settings.
- The App's current rules and calculation data needed for offline operation.
This information is not uploaded to PaisaSync's servers, Firebase Analytics, advertising partners or any other third party. You can remove saved items in the App where that option is available, or erase the App's local data through Android Settings or by uninstalling the App. Removing the App means saved local calculations cannot be recovered.
3. Information that may leave your device
Firebase Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand whether the App works well and which general tools people find useful. When analytics is enabled and your device is online, Firebase Analytics may receive:
- App interactions, such as screens viewed, a calculator opened, a generic feature used, session duration and app version.
- Standard technical information that Firebase collects to operate analytics, such as an app-instance identifier, device model, operating-system version, language, approximate region derived from IP address, and crash or diagnostic information where enabled by the Firebase service.
We configure App analytics so that it does not send calculator inputs, financial amounts, income, expenses, savings, debts, purchase prices, investment values, affordability scores or calculation results. We do not use analytics to identify you by name, email address, phone number or account.
Firebase is provided by Google. Google may process analytics data outside India under the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising
The free version of the App shows advertisements. Advertising partners may process standard advertising and device information, including an advertising identifier, IP-derived approximate location, device and app information, and ad interaction data, to serve, limit and measure ads. The precise data and choices available depend on the advertising provider and your Android settings.
Your financial inputs, calculator results and saved calculations are never provided to an advertising partner and are never used to select an ad. You can reset or limit use of your advertising identifier in Android's privacy and ads settings. If you buy ad removal, the App stops showing ads; this does not alter the local-only handling of your financial data.
One-time ad-removal purchase
The App offers an optional one-time purchase, currently planned at ₹150, to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play. PaisaSync does not receive or store your card, UPI, bank-account or other payment details. We may store the local purchase entitlement needed to keep ads disabled on your device. Google handles purchase data according to its own privacy policy.
4. What we do not collect
Finance Calculator India does not collect or request:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers or passwords
- Bank, UPI, card or investment-account credentials
- PAN, Aadhaar, OTPs or government-identity documents
- Your calculator inputs, financial profile, saved calculations or results
- Contacts, SMS, call logs, camera, microphone, photos, precise location or calendar data
The App does not offer loans, insurance, investments, financial-product referrals or lead generation, and does not share data with lenders or data brokers.
5. How we use and share data
We use the limited analytics information described above to improve App reliability, understand feature usage and diagnose problems. Advertising data is used by advertising partners to provide and measure ads in the free App.
We share data only with the service providers needed for those purposes:

We do not sell personal data or financial data. We do not use financial inputs or results to make automated decisions about you.
6. Calculators and affordability checks are not financial advice
Finance Calculator India is an information and calculation tool, not a bank, financial adviser, investment adviser, tax adviser, lender, broker or insurer. An affordability check is a local estimate based only on the values and assumptions you enter. It is not a credit decision, loan approval, investment recommendation, tax filing advice or a guarantee of any financial outcome.
You are responsible for checking the inputs, current rates, tax rules and any result before making a financial decision. Consider a qualified professional where advice tailored to your circumstances is needed.
7. Retention and deletion
- Financial calculations and saved data: remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.
- Firebase Analytics: retained by Google according to the retention period configured for the PaisaSync Firebase project and Google's services.
- Advertising and purchase data: retained by the relevant provider under its own policies and legal obligations.
Because the App has no account and PaisaSync does not receive your financial data, we cannot retrieve or delete calculations from your device. You control them directly through the App and Android's App-storage controls.
8. Security
The App is designed to work offline and to keep financial information local. Your device's screen lock and Android app sandbox help protect local data. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so keep your device updated and use a screen lock. Do not enter passwords, OTPs, bank-account numbers or other credentials into any calculator or search field.
9. Children
Finance Calculator India is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at rounak@paisasync.app. Since the App has no account and does not collect financial inputs, we may be unable to identify a device from an email alone; we will still review the request and help where possible.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, its analytics, advertising or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version at this URL and update the date above. If a change materially affects how data is handled, we will provide notice in the App where appropriate.
